So their you have it… my first thrust in offering help to these villages by simply telling their story. 2 months ago I had never even seen a blog let alone know how to create one. But my one chance meeting with one old lady motivated my big butt….

Wouldn’t you rather have something in your home that told a unique story or that actually had some character rather than a product that came from a mindless cold impersonal machine. The machine doesn’t take time to create a design or think about what the pattern stands for it just coldly spits out the same design over and over again. Who wants that ! Not me. And I’m sure you don’t either.

My goal is to try to save a small part of a dying industry. Will you help me ?

These Llama Wool blankets are ever so soft to the touch you just can’t wait to curl up with one. They are very light weight and very durable. The colors and patterns are each very unique. Each blanket is made by hand from a wooden loom and not mass produced.

The all organic dyes used to color the wool is made from a number of different products. Flower petals, tree bark ,nut shells and roots. These oils, when mixed together, provide unique colors and vivid hues
